I remember watching this movie where a middle aged man is looking for a cartel which kidnapped his adult daughter (I believe). He comes across a young woman who had ties to said cartel and is a recovering heroin addict.
They tag along for some time, finally end up finding some members in Mexico where she betrays him and is forced to take drugs. He later finds out she was trying to protect him from being killed by the other members and they team up again.
Later in the movie they find a house the cartel uses for satanic rituals where the man's daughter was tortured.
Towards the ending there is a big shoot out, taking place in a sort of construction site in the desert on a road. The young woman is injured and hides in a large concrete pipe. The cartel goons end up loosing the shoot out and they're all killed.
The movie ends with the man cleaning his car near where his daughter lives (if my memory doesn't betray me) and the young woman visiting him to briefly talk.
I remember watching the movie on Amazon video in probably 2023 and it's no older than 10 years
