[CHAT] Covering up old colors

[CHAT] Covering up old colors

Hello all,

In my current WIP, I realized that I had a few stitches that were the wrong color (about 8 of them or so) that I did a while ago. My issue is that it was part of a large block, so undoing it to get back to those 8 might not really be possible. Is it possible to cover up or do something to fix the color? I did the 8 stitches in DMC 3325 where it should be DMC 809. The green arrow points to the 3325, and the Yellow to the 809 for reference. I put together 3 stitches in the middle of the picture of the 809 (2 on top of the current 3325 stitch, the other in the regular aida) for reference. (I know the difference may not be too visible but my camera isn’t particularly the best.)

[CHAT] Question regarding how to go about a fragmented patter

Hi all,

Made this account so I can post and talk about my art projects. I’m working on a gift for a younger relative, a sprite of a video game boss (Cryogen) from a game we both enjoy (Terraria Calamity Mod), as a bday gift. The sprite is one central body with 16 smaller bodies around it. I upscaled the pattern I made so that 4 stitches = a pixel. The central area has low amounts of confetti and mostly big swatches of color, so I’ll probably cross country that. The 16 smaller bodies around it is where I run into trouble. The bodies are not connected to the main, so there’s some gap of aida in between. They have plenty of confetti, and I made one of the 16 bodies already as a starting point; doing it cross country sucked. Should I try parking? Do I brute force cross country? I can’t drag anything on the back between bodies, since I don’t want it to show through the fabric. I’ve attached a picture of the original sprite for reference.
