I have been in the mortgage industry since 2008. I have survived some booms and busts. I opened my own brokerage in 2016. It has done pretty well for me, until the last few years. I have wanted to leave the industry for a while, I'm tired of the variability of the market, and honestly I need more structure. I have a bachelor's degree in business management, but aside from sales I haven't worked in any other industries. Running my own business I've had to handle compliance, taxes, payroll, marketing, all sorts of things. I know the job market is rough, so I don't even know where to start.
