A good friend of mine had a black walnut tree milled up and kiln dried from his property to get a few slabs for a bartop in his man cave. He gave me a significant portion of the leftovers and this is a small token of my appreciation. Oak sides with a dado to fit the walnut back. Walnut splines on the miters for strength and Odie’s oil to finish. Under a covered porch that doesn’t get hardly any sun or weather - so I’m holding off on Spar urethane.
