I've recently accepted a job in Manchester, so around a 25 mile commute from my current place of residence.

They've granted me a car allowance and I've gone for this. Due to be delivered tomorrow.

Used VAUXHALL CORSA 2016 Black for sale - £3495 in Northwich, Cheshire | The Car Centre Northwich

Only now am I considering if I've perhaps rushed into this and if its a suitable vehicle?

I've never known much about cars and have carried out the bare minimum due diligence (fan belt been replaced recently, fresh MOT, insurance quotes reasonable)

I don't have any close family/friends to consult on this so is there anything major here I should be concerned about? Any advice would be massively appreciated. TYIA
