Got this job as a DSP driver for supplemental income, was doing DoorDash before on the side and just wanted more consistency. First month with my DSP was great, routes were kinda heavy, about 185 stops, 240 locations, 300-330 packages a route, but mostly residential. Last week I had an incident on a rural route where I had 7 overflow packages to deliver to a farm and 3 dogs rushed me and I had to leave one package and RTS the other 6. My dispatcher was called immediately and told me Amazon support would mark the one package as delivered and RTS the rest. A week later, dispatched called me on my day off asking about a stolen/lost package and I immediately recognized the address. I supplied them with the photo of the dogs around the package and gave them the dispatchers name who said he was taking care of the situation. They responded with it was my responsibility to go to back and retrieve the package and that it was going to effect my driver delivery guarantee rating and my scheduling. The next shift I wasn’t assigned a shift until after I loaded up at the lauchpad blind based of a picture of my bags because they gave me the route of someone who quit that day and I skipped through the vehicle inspection to see my route and they violated me for too fast of a route inspection and they said it will effect my bonuses and scorecard. 100% feels like I’m being set up for failure and I’m ready to toss the towel in and move on to other options, am I crazy for thinking this way? Rest of my family thinking I’m not giving it long enough of a chance but after almost 3 months this feels ridiculous. Also when I asked the “manager” for an update on the violation dispute, my response from him was “no bro” I’m almost 30 and done with this level of unprofessionalism. Am I crazy?

Whole road is dirt/sand. Routing had me turn around, backed up slow to test the ground, got out and it seemed fine, one foot more and it sunk.
***Update, tow truck came and winched me out within an hour. Finished my route on time and DSP gave me a warning and said don’t stress it 🙏
