Hi everybody,

I am currently working on my A2 licence and I am looking for advice to buy a motorcycle based on the following criteria:

• Valid for A2 licence
• Commuting 4-5 times a week from April to September in Spain, 70km roundtrip (70% of which on the highway). I expect to hit traffic often, mostly arriving at my workplace and leaving from there.
• Looking forward to have some fun on the weekends, driving 200km+ routes every two weekends or so.

I have been searching for reviews on different bikes, such as the 2025 MT07, 2026 CB750 Hornet, 2026 Trident 660, 2026 Z650S, 2025 F900R... and I have narrowed it down to the 2026 CB750 Hornet (e-clutch) and the 2026 Trident 660 due to the following reasons:

2026 CB750 Hornet

• E-clutch seems really confortable for traffic situations.
• High-power, high-torque twin cylinder compared to MT07 and Z650S.
• Honda dealer close to my workplace.
• 8995€ new (including engine protection mounts and extended warranty).

2026 Trident 660

• Cruise control, perfect for highway driving while commuting and routing on weekends.
• 95hp triple cylinder engine which sounds great.
• On paper, better electronics than CB750 Hornet (other than quickshifter vs e-clutch).
• Triumph dealer close to my workplace (further away than the Honda dealer).
• 9500€ new (including engine protection mounts).

Am I missing something from the other alternatives that I have listed? What would you suggest that would be a good bike for these purposes?
