Weird question, but have any of you tried smoking Industrial Hemp?

No, I dont mean CBD, CBG, or even THCa Hemp. I mean Type 5 Industrial Hemp. The type that no one typically smokes.

I bought some Carmagnola CS (apparently some sort of landrace), and another Industrial Hemp strain from Hoku Seeds. This strain was originally raised for fiber reasons but apparently, according to Hoku Seeds and some other sources, its becoming a popular legal cannabis to smoke in Europe, particularly Italy. Due to its notable CBD content and aroma.

Another Type 5 strain they sell even clarifies not to raise the plant in nutrient rich soil, so it doesn't become too potent and go over the legal cannabinoid limits.

That interested me. Can you even classify Industrial Hemp as Type 5 if it can go over the legal THC limits? Would that technically make it Marijuana, and what are the effects like? Any input would be greatly appreciated!
