I can’t drink Starbucks/dunkin donuts liquid drinks without acid reflux and burps

At least I don’t believe I can? Cold brew or ice coffee, with almond milk, vanilla sweet cream, or dunkin liquid drinks, it does not matter. It all results the same. Suffer for 30 mins to 1 hour of these terrible acid burps that cause a terrible sensation in my throat and stomach feels like a small fireball is there. But the second I get a FROZEN BEVERAGE, smoothie, frappecino, slushie, I AM NORMAL AND EXPERIENCE ZERO ACID REFLUX. I also experience another experiment where I have bought “STOK” cold brew coffee all week and have zero acid reflux reaction.

Is this a weird coincidence or am I actually onto something? Hey if it helps the wallet not spend money at those places, it would be fine with me!

What does your diet look like?

I am 26M and plan to be more proactive by hitting the gym with my partner. I love to cook but if we go out to eat, I orient my choices around anything that only consists of onion, garlic, herbs and black pepper, so no actually spicy flavors. I used to be the kid growing up who ate 3 slices of pizza with a Mountain Dew blue voltage and went to sleep an hour later on my back. Yeah not good 😂. So I stopped that .

What all do you routinely eat day to day? I do love my seasonings and sauces, carbs and salads and of course protein

Capital on 360 checking joint account question

Me and my partner were wondering about the transfer times since we plan to use it for bills, groceries, dinner splits etc. We have checking and savings at a credit union with horrible lack of joint account features. so maybe we should move everything to online? any opinions or experience from anyone that has joint accounts and how they can fully both have access to transfer money in or out, push/pull from one bank to the other bank?

Joint banking account options.

Me and my partner have a credit union and we both have a checking and savings with our direct deposit. She is paid weekly and I am every 2 weeks. We opened a "joint account" yesterday and were given two debit cards to access the account. I will list the isues below in a quick format:

- The teller said "we cannot create a new member account since the system won't allow us. But this method should work. We have not had people ask for a joint account." (what??)

- she can see the joint account on her website and app, along with her own accounts, yet i cannot

- its unknown if she is able to transfer funds to me from her end

- I cannot see the joint account at all on app ir website

- I am only allowed to use the debit card associated with the account by depositing money and withdrawing it

- This creates a major inconvinenece.

- pusedo-solution is to drive every week to the one sole ATM in a terrible spot of the city with bad parking, use my debit card to withdraw money, then deposit that same cash into the joint account by using the joint account debit card

this horrible and not a true seemless and smooth joint account with a bank in 2026. It more so sounds like my partner is the primary user of this account, and you have authorized use of it only by cash deposit or withdrawal and by this physical debit card.

So I am looking for advice. This is what we want:

- BOTH OF US to have FULL ACCESS to the joint account to push/pull funds from

- digitally transfer money in or out with ease (this part may sound like a repeat)

- go to a wide network of ATMS like allpoint if we ever receive cash

- transfer times to be fast, within 1 day if possible

- minimal or no fees of any kind

WE are considering a joint capital one 360 checking but want to be fully sure of its features. Can anyone confirm if our credit union is old and outdated as compared to larger banks also? If things go well, we would maybe consider opening up personal checking and savings but i am unsure if you withdrawal money anywhere? I think they do have allpoints at walmart, CVS and walgreens right. I am ready for any helpful advice

80% done with my MIS degree but i am 26, and burned out from everything. Need guidance or reassurance :( .

Hello good people, some of you may recognize me but i did have another post about an exam i was forced to take at midnight two days ago and it was not too horrible since it was open book. I believe i passed the class since i had a 93 in the class and the final was 20% which i made a 62% out of 80 questions and i was able to answer 68 questions. Thank you to those who sent me very much needed words. I am happier reading them and they helped.

now this post I wanted some advice and ideas from whoever you are. I work at a desk job. I file tax documents, enter in data, and create new aaccounts or call people weekly. I work part time from 8am to 2pm 4 days a week. Not really stressful. I rush home to take a poop and then shower and may or may not grab something to eat for energy. I stay on my laptop for 3 to 5 hours everyday for 3 classes. and will pass out from mental overload around 8pm to 9:30pm. Once my brain or body reaches that point i think "I dont give a damn anymore about this so lets go get a full time job and begin making money". I feel llike I am on a pendulum or drastic decesions.

So am I doing this "college rites of passage to boost the earning of money for your life" correct right now? What should i change in my routine? study habits, anything. everyday it's just the same. damn. activity. I feel like i have no emotional ties that are posistive to this "reward" when i receive that degree. Maybe my 4 to 6 years of financial aid will used up because i fail or I am not cut out for this tye of rigor.

Actually, maybe i shouldn't even post this but here I am. I am sorry for wasting your time but if you respond, I will definitely read

I am 80% done with my MIS degree but should I have maybe swapped to IT/cybersecurity?

I am seeking assurance and advice. I have tried to research in detail of comparing the classes at my college between 3 degrees, and MIS i though was the most versatile to be used for great range of jobs and the ability to step over into different sectors all within a big hub of sorts intrigued me. But getting to this point, after this past spring semester and registering for fall already, i feel fucking dead and exhausted.

background info: My university supposedly has a public syllabus archive you can view online but its barely a year old. I have pell grant that lasts until fall 2030 and some extra aid that starts in the fall and lasts 3 years that gives me at least $1,000 a month of top of pell grant being given which is typically $600 to $695. I am trying to always sign up for 3 classes on top of my job of 24 hours weekly and i get home around 4:30 to 5:30. for the past year, i dont really feel good mentally but i guess i haven't given up yet.

So i viewed whats available and one class in particular being international business, has me feeling sick some. "writing intense class. 600 words weekly writing assignments (20%). lockdown browser and camera quizzes (20%). 4 multiple choice exams 40 to 45 questions all 12.5% each (50%). country paper 6 to 8 pages decribing 3 ideas and referencing them in the textbook."

getting to this point i feel, disconnected... the bad thoughts of "this is not interesting or important to me. why the hell must I care about this? is this still the only way for me to leave this horrible place? I could drop out now. I just want to care about boots on the ground working in whatever way with technology and level up now."

the professors and other advisors have talked poorly about the business department and i see now I guess. I just want any advice. I know I am not speaking well. Shit maybe i need rest from this past semeseter instead of trying to write a paper over the semeseter and turn it in on week one. I simply fell like i am in limbo after all these years.

TL;DR: by my explanation, would i have a better time in IT/ cybersecurity degrees and have similar career options? even if i went down to 55% to 65% percent of degree completeion?

My professor for some reason only opened the exam by “university guidelines on a scheduled day” and that day being tomorrow at Thursday. It is only open for 24 hours through McGraw hill. Other classes haven’t done this and been opened for a week? The midterm was also opened for a week for McGraw hill so I don’t know if it’s really true.

My living situation sucks ass but I live with my girlfriend’s shitty parents, or my own parents and I chose the lesser of two evils. They are loud and obnoxious but I have to put signs on the door when I am testing and it’s worked so far. This is important because
I can’t go to library in time enough to take the test since my job shift ends at 5pm and they close at that time.

But the exam opens at midnight tonight. So I decided, when people are asleep to set an alarm for 12:30am and wake up, brush my teeth and put on my job clothes and take the exam when everyone is asleep. It’s 80 fucking questions but we have access to the textbook.

I am looking for Nice positive words I guess to uplift me so I can maybe read them when I get to my job and hopefully not over sleep due to mental fatigue. I am 80% done with my MIS degree and maybe this will be the norm for just another 2 years. If I can stay sane enough and not crash out and make a regretful decision… 😪. Thanks for reading if you did. Just encouragement really.

Hey everyone, I am 26M years old . I recently drunk a dunkin berry açaí refresher this morning with 4 liquid can sugar (standard) and swapped green tea out for water. I did this because I discovered that only their beverages with green tea as a base, gives me an ongoing acid problem for about 30 mins to an hour. But there cold brews and coolattas do not give me this reaction? Is there something in their ingredients by any chance? Maybe I should unfortunately stop even though it’s very tasty but I care about my health and well being more. Thanks for any helpful information!
