Presque Isle Casino - Worst Craps Experience Ever
Needed to stretch my legs for a bit on the drive back from Buffalo so I decided to stop into Presque Isle Downs in Erie PA.
Bad vibes from the minute I walk up to the table. $10 min. I proceeded to play my usual squeeze play. 66 inside. First hit add 4-10, second hit inside pressure, third hit down to 64 across. Nothing terribly complicated There are only three of us on the side. One dude betting a six and eight and a hop better with a four and six next to me. I always have dealers up on hard six and eight and am dropping dollars for them on box numbers as we go to keep them in the action.
First time I regress dealer doesn't know how to take the bets down. Box has to show him. No biggie. I'm patient. Put the dealers up on the numbers just to show I appricate the attempt.
Second time don't get to regress, only get two hits but a handful of horns hit so I had dealers up on those. He messes up the inside press and I have to correct him before the seven comes.
Third time, he messes up the inside press and doesn't press the five and nine to 20. Just takes the money and leaves them both at 15. Before I can point this out, dice fly. Six hits. I say take me down and ya shorted me 10. Box is confused. Dealer is confused. They start giving me shit. So I hold up the table recapping every roll, the layout, my press.. they angrily give me my money.
Eight rolls. Toss the dealer 5, press my 12 to 30. He gives me one change THAT I PUT ON THE EIGHT for him. Eight comes back, he pays me 28.. I'm like.. dude.. I had 30 on the 8. Box is confused. Pit boss comes over, table is glaring at me... They fix it, Pit doesn't apologize, box has to switch, table vibe is totally wrecked and they are all glaring at me and.. of course... seven out. I color and leave.
I don't understand the need to rush the rolls with a dealer who clearly can't keep up and then try to blame me for them messing up my bets.
Don't think I'll ever be playing there again.
10/10 on the flaming dumpster fire meter.
