I recently had an ikea kitchen installed, but I kept my own appliances, including the stove. The stovetop is 8 centimeters lower than the countertops. I know that if I use it now, it will damage the countertops. The ikea kitchen planner had suggested I buy wood from the Baumarkt (hardware store) and put it under the stove raise it. Can anyone speak to how they addressed a gap between stove height and countertop height? Thanks!
