Hey everyone, I’ve been learning how to create my own Patcher presets, and I feel like I’m starting to get pretty good at it (or at least I’d like to think so haha).

I had a couple of questions about the Surface area inside Patcher.

First, is there any way to display information or parameter values directly on the Surface?

For example, let’s say I have a knob controlling the frequency of a band in an EQ. Is there a way for the Surface to show the actual frequency value that the knob is currently set to (like 200 Hz, 1 kHz, etc.)?

Also, is there a way in the Surface to make a knob “physically” stop based on another parameter?

For example, imagine I have 2 knobs controlling the frequencies of 2 different EQ bands. Let’s say knob 2 is set to 1 kHz — is there a way to prevent knob 1 from moving beyond that point? Basically creating a dynamic limit so the two frequency bands can’t cross each other.

Hey everyone,

I recently watched a video featuring ProdbyJack and Ayo Sim where they were making a beat while also talking about their workflow, giving advice, and discussing the music industry. It was kind of a mix between a cook-up session and an interview.

I didn’t know them before, but I really liked that format, seeing professionals actually working while sharing insights and experiences felt more valuable than just tutorials.

Do you guys know any YouTube channels (or other content like podcasts, etc.) that have this vibe? Like real producers creating music while also talking about their process, mindset, and the industry.

Appreciate any recommendations 🙏
