It was a story on Royal Road I'm reasonably sure.

Reincarnation plot, female MC, with some time skip stuff, going from past civilisation to current day sort of tech level.

There was definitely some interesting stuff going on with some archeology students/researchers.

I remember that the female MC was in an Egyptian era life for a long time, ended up either being the ruler, or ruling in their spouses stead? Before dying in childbirth?

Very vague I know, but it popped into my head and I thought to myself I really need to catch up with where that was going cause I remember it being awesome.
