Why would a horse bite its stall door?
Info about this horse: This is a 8 y.o gelding Turkish Warmblood that came off from militarys cavalry ceremony units a few years ago to be used as a lesson horse. He's startled even by the sound of his own feces hitting the floor, and he's making dangerous movements, kicking and thrashing around.
He was locked up in a stable for a year because of his actions during a ride that made several people get injured bad. Our new head trainer tried to train and care for him for a few weeks but considered him a hopeless case and abandoned him back in the stall where he's been not getting out for three and a half months now.
Every time i walk pass by his stall he bites this metal piece of his stall door and makes an "eegk" sound, he used to be in a different box a few months ago and he used to bite door back then.
