Is this website legit? We live in Canada so if not what do you recommend?

I can’t and do not want to cut the posts. I’m adding some 2x12” PT for the beams. The joists will be hung on the house by brackets.

Also any advice about the flashing on the house is appreciated. The siding and flashing was done with the old porch. Can I just put the 5/4” back in place? Or is there anything to consider before rebuilding?
