I’m about ready to purchase 2026 340i jahre Boston green. Had initially been looking for M3‘s, but considering the cost of ownership to be a little annoying with the extra gas costs, tire costs, etc.

Basically dealer said we don’t have M3 but this 340i is coming in.

Has anybody come from an M3 to a 340 or vice versa. I’m currently in a 330 so the 340 would be a very easy transition and I already have the winter tires. I live in a town with shit streets and shit Winters. I know they are different beasts but I wanna feel reassured regarding the 340 being “more” than the 330
