At the beginning of last year, I contacted a private medical clinic in England enquiring about a service they offer and, more specifically, about some adjustments they offer so that I can undergo some investigations at their clinic.
At the time, they assured me in writing that they offered said adjustments (to note that I found them by googling which clinics specifically offer these adjustments) and I signed up for a membership with them, paying monthly.
A couple of months later, when I went for my investigations, I was surprised to find out that they couldn’t actually go through with any of the adjustments in question.
The following year was spent back and forth via email, booking new appointments while waiting for them to reconfirm how best they can help with the adjustments, then cancelling or rescheduling because they either did not get back to me in time, or they did not give me a clear answer.
It was only recently that I managed to get in writing that they cannot actually offer the adjustments for me at all.
Am I in the right to ask for all the money I paid for my membership for the past year and a couple of months back?
Or does having already physically been to the clinic and having tried to go through the investigation despite the lack of adjustments (and failing), and then booking multiple appointments and then cancelling them make me unable to do so?
