I see a lot of hype for the Scientists team on here, but I don’t fully understand why? I’m in the midst of trying to beat the hardest round in the game (Level 10 , Mission 49 🖕) and NONE of my good teams can even make a dent. So I’m saving a bunch of gold to max out more units. Up to 60k at this point.
But… I can see the potential of maxed out Scientists. Freezing abilities and an endless swarm of drones that do double damage and don’t kill your own guys? Is that the key? Is that what they do??Because I have all their skins unlocked and I hardly see a single strong unit. Dr. Norman, Light Soldier (Liquidator) & Dr. Sanchez all have strong upsides. Kane & Miller seem pretty f’n useless to me, aside from rounding out a 5/5 team. Slow fire rate, poor power & bad accuracy. I’m not even glancing at Pepper either.
What’s the hype people? What am I missing? I have 60k to burn and I’m skeptical about pouring it in to them. I’ve tested them on easier levels and I’m still not impressed. Maybe it takes a fully leveled up team to see their true potential?
Rednecks, Mechanics, Psychos & TMF are my
go-to’s in these late rounds and any combination of them have never let me down. So what am I missing here??
