Sorry guys, apparently in Estonia we don't even bring to justice the ringleaders, the fat cats funding the call centers and laundering the money they stole from us all.
This son of a Ukrainian multimillionaire - who was in the committee of a bank in Estonia while leading a scam operation that stole at least €100 million from regular people across Europe - has now struck a deal with the prosecution to pay €8.5 million for his immediate release and time served.
This scam business truly is great. Fund call centers, start a bank with your dad, make 100 mil, pay 10 mil for your freedom, maybe a bit more on the hush-hush. But overall - crime still pays - as long as you make enough of it to also buy your freedom.
