I just submitted my first short film to a film festival on film freeway. I sent the movie to a friend to review, but I couldn't wait for their opinions as I was running close to the submission deadline. There is a core piece of dialogue in the movie that is very hard to discern that I did not catch on my final reviews of the movie. My question is would it be crazy or inappropriate for me to send an email to the submissions of the film festival asking if I can make small adjustments to the audio mix of that particular dialogue? It still shows I'm in consideration but the judging is undecided. I don't want to make a big deal or anything but I just have a feeling that if my film gets rejected it is going to be because of this very important piece of dialogue. Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

Edit: I reached out to them and they said it was totally fine to update it. Got it fixed and updated within a couple hours thanks everyone!
