I got 99.79 percentile, but only converted Kashipur.

I'm a 9/8/7 GEM, took drop immediately after graduation to pursue CAT. I don't have a lot of good certifications either, but after getting this high a percentile I thought maybe I could convert a tier 1. Only restarted my job search after getting rejected from IIT B about 10-15 days ago and have not been successful since. Have lost out on most of my major calls (IIT B, IIM C, MDI G, FMS etc)

Should I take IIM Kashipur and hope things work out there or should I try again for CAT in the future after gaining work-ex?

9/8/7 profile, decided to take a gap and prepare for CAT instead of taking up a job. Overachieved in CAT, got 99.79. Got calls from IIMC, FMS etc. Some went okay, some (like FMS, IITB, MDI) went fantastic. Result?

IIMC: Waitlist 433

IIMU: Rejected

IITB: Waitlist not in first list.

FMS: Rejected.

IIMI: Merit list in four digits.

MDI, IIFT and IIM M is the only tier 1's I have left, and MDI-G is the only one I feel I nailed. Tried to convince my parents I could work for the next year and half and re-attempt in 2027, but they're not having it. Think I'll not get as good a percentile, forcing me to take Kashipur (and had i not gotten it, would have made me take Guwahati.)

Wish I had just bombed on CAT day and got something like 85 86 percentile so i could just focus on a job instead.
