Ant Infestation?
Dealing with an obnoxious ant infestation currently. Every couple days we get quite a few of these assholes showing up on our walls and ceiling. Originally I noticed they were swarming around a window that we've had a leak around for a bit, but they've started coming in along a beam on our ceiling. I've sprayed Ortho in and out and I think all it did was drive them elsewhere in the house. I also threw down some Terro bait traps that I can't tell if they're doing anything. On the advice of some other posts on this subreddit, I ordered some advion and put on the beam, near the corner where it meets an outside wall.
Looking for any advice, as well as any thoughts on what type of ant this might be. I'm going insane trying to nail this down.
Edit: this is in eastern Kansas, if that's helpful for identifying.
