Got my first contract violation 🥳🎉
Welp, I got my first ever CV and it's incredible how all of the stories of useless help and automation are true!
I had a delivery out of my phone's service area. It's pretty rural around here, so there's a lot of dead zones. I made the delivery to the apartment building, took it to the door listed in the instructions and in the photo. I had app issues due to being in a dead zone and was unable to actually progress on the order completion screen, so I snapped a photo of the order at the customers door on my phones camera app.
No problem, I thought, even though I wasn't able to use the app at all, I'd be able to complete the order when I got back service.
I'm driving back to the zone, trying to get connected back to the app, and 5 mins later, I'm able reconnect, and I'm greeted with a contract violation for not delivering the order to the right door (literally in the 5 mins it took to drive away).
I contacted support, said "AGENT" enough times that the AI thought my name was Adrian, and eventually connected to a human.
They told me I'd be able to dispute it and share the photo in an email I would receive.
That didn't happen, and I start dashing today, and wow imagine that! "Dispute rejected."
Learned my lesson, never going to that address again lol.
The worst part is that it's not even a busy area, so it's going to be a while until the CV falls off at 100 deliveries.
