Comfort after biopsy

Hello. I just had my biopsy today. It wasn't bad at the time. Now I'm just a bit sore and icing and taking Tylenol. I need advice. I was told to wear a bra the first 24-48 hours. There's no way I could sleep wearing one. Any tips?

Vascularity question and fibroadenoma question

Hello. Thales for your patience with all the questions I've been asking lately. I noticed that when other people share their ultrasound reports sometimes they mention vascularity. I have a lump and it was measured and described as well circumscribed and hypoechoic but there is no mention of vascularity. Is it more likely that this means there is no vascularity or that they just didn't check for it?

Has anyone been diagnosed with fibroadenoma at a later age? It seems to be more common in women under 35, but I'm 43. Did your doctor do a mammogram/ultrasound then definitively say fibroadenoma or did you have to get a biopsy?

Thanks!

Error on report - contraceptives

Hello. I got my mammogram and ultrasound report on my patient portal and noticed an error. It says I've been on hormonal contraceptives since age 40. I have no clue where they got that considering I've been on birth control most of my adult life. They never asked what kind I take or how long I've been taking them. The only time it came up is that they asked the date of my last period and I said that I don't really get a normal period because of my birth control. They are already closed for the weekend. Is this something very important that needs corrected or can it wait until my biopsy on Tuesday?

Hello. I posted a couple weeks ago that I found a lump. I got my diagnostic mammogram & ultrasound today. It's a 2.1 x 1.3 x 1.5 well circumscribed hypoechoic mass. Birads 4, biopsy Tuesday. Im obviously spiraling over Birads 4, but was given no letter grade. Doctor says she has reason to expect that's its a fibroadenoma. Isn't 4 really bad because it's on a 1-5 scale? Is my doctor giving me false hope? Has anyone had similar findings and what was your result?

Also, I was told I should be able to go right back to work after my appointment, but I really thought I'd need to stay home and ice. It's under the areola BTW. Thoughts? Thanks!
