Is there a legal framework for defining how many times a grievance hearing can be delayed?
Work in the NHS, raised a complex grievance regarding management covering up staff mental health issues and bullying/harassment back in Jan 2025. Grievance hearing has now been delayed for the fourth time due to "staff availability". I've explained every time this happens, it's like I relive the trauma of what happened to me all over again (have PTSD diagnosis due to my managers actions and other incidents in the team).
I am getting to the point where I'm actually wondering if HR are deliberately delaying things in the hope I just drop the complaint.
Anyone know how long the delays can persist before I could bring a legal case against them for unreasonable delay? Tysm
