I’m tired of my laptop screaming at me because I have 5 different versions of the same large dataset or binary files saved locally just so I can work on them.

What’s your current workaround? Do you just buy bigger external SSDs, or have you found a way to stream what you need without the "full sync" headache? I feel like we should be past the "download everything" phase of tech by now.
