I personally have had such a horrible experience working with Niecia that I’ve wanted to shout from the rooftops to warn any other women not to give her their money. Hoping this thread helps prevent other women from being duped by her as I was.
I learned about mineral balancing and HTMA through the Medicine Stories podcasts with Niecia, and was immediately interested in her work. I purchased an HTMA test in 2024 and didn’t know what to expect really. I received results within a month but very little clarity about what the results meant, which I understood to be because she didn’t offer 1:1 support.
My family then invested over $2000 CAD on tests to be used over time (she suggested you can use the tests anytime one purchased and it was more affordable than any of the other practitioners who offered HTMA that I had found, to be able to get tests and protocols for my entire family). I never would have blindly trusted a practitioner, but based on all the hours I'd heard her speak about mineral balancing and her association with Amber Hill, and others online, she seemed to have a good enough reputation. I was clearly very wrong. She has no accreditations listed anywhere on her socials/website and I've come to learn she actually glosses over this because she lacks the credentials.
I had trusted that she would follow through on her services that she was paid for, as any ethical, decent practitioner would, but I was absolutely wrong.
I got pregnant and have had HG in all of my pregnancies so far, I sent my HTMA samples for me and my family and then never heard back from Niecia despite reaching out every two weeks for about three months total, asking where our full results & protocols were.
It was such a strange situation, she uploaded our HTMA results for those tests a few months in on their Nobl platform, BUT withheld our supplement protocols. These protocols were the only reason an HTMA test was useful to us, particularly for me as I was suffering with HG (debilitating pregnancy nausea and vomiting), was bedridden, and unable to eat my normal nourishing diet while growing new life. I let her know (very respectfully) how important having our protocols was for my situation and she ignored all requests. I sent messages saying "I hope you are okay" because I genuinely thought she must be terribly sick or have had some tradgedy in or to ghost her clients this way.
When I did finally get a response after THREE MONTHS, she was referencing names for my family members that were incorrect. It was like she didn’t even know which family/clients she was emailing about.
Since then, her husband Ryan has been the sole communicator. He never offered an explanation for why she treated us this way. We eventually were given the protocols for those tests but only after the test results were past their valid three month window, rendering any protocols/ supplement suggestions pretty much useless.
To say I was disappointed in my experience with Niecia is a huge understatement.
We still have multiple tests left unused that she and Ryan have refused to refund. Now I am left with zero trust in her capacity as a practitioner and see her absolute lack of integrity. My family invested a lot of money in her services and she hasn’t been able to fulfill those services within a reasonable time frame so far. We are still waiting on test results for my husband which Ryan has claimed is because the lab is doing a “big batch” of tests for them so it’s delayed… it’s been over two months waiting for those retest results. Which I am certain is just another lie on top of a pile of other lies they tell clients who want the services they paid them for. I called the lab directly and they said Neicia has the results already and there is no "back up" of tests happening.
I would absolutely urge anyone considering working with her in any capacity to turn the other way and find someone with integrity.
She’s turned off comments for all her recent posts on instagram. So the word is out, people are wisening up to how horrible she is. Her bad reputation will catch up with her because it is growing quickly.
Anyways, thank you to everyone who’s shared your bad experience, it’s helped me feel less alone in this struggle with Niecia when my health is already so difficult.
