Why does the media hates the Bengals so much?

We this Dexter Lawrence deal I’ve been seeing multiple reporters talking about it and honestly I believe the only “neutral” reporter I’ve seen having a well balenced opinion was Daniel Jeremiah. The dumbass Adam Schefter couldn’t watch us being happy and just came back with the entire “uur duur the Bengals better watch out or Burrow will ask for a trade uur duuur”. What the hell is that?

We need to let ourselves be happy guys, OMG

When the freaking rat birds traded 2 first picks for a fresh out of surgery Maxx Crosby (and they absolutely already knew that from day 1) everyone was going crazy saying how bold they were and how they wished the Bengals were like that and all… Now that we traded 1 first round pick for the best DT in the league I am seeing people on our own fanbase complaining about how it was a bad deal and “we are crazy”. I guess some “fans” just want to complain no matter what.

I think I have the wrong vibe on this sport

Why do I feel there isnt an obsession about winning the Super Bowl from all teams? I kinda got the vibe from some fans that they are only hoping to see some cool QB throws and WR runs and they are satisfied. I joined a fanbase thinking “ok what is this team doing to win the super bowl THIS YEAR?!”. I know there are definitely teams that are on a different level of competition like the Seahawks, Rams, Patriots, Broncos and all but I feel like some teams with big potential like Bengals, Bills, Ravens , Giants should be more “desperate” to fix their problems and have a shot at the title. After all there isn’t a “consolation prize”… being sent off in the playoffs is pretty much the same as finishing the season 7-10 for example

Edit: I am not saying that every team should think they can win the super bowl every year but sometimes it seems that some franchises arent even trying to move in the direction to maybe become contenders in the next, I don’t know, 5 years.. Some franchises (like the one I chose) have clear problems that are totally addressable but they aren’t doing their best to change that and if they did, the team would instantly become SB contenders
