I am a male avian of the falcon variety, and if you’re an avian like me, then you should know that there aren’t a lot of us on Corneria. So with that said, like any good Cornerian should, I’ve looked up to the StarFox team, specifically Falco. I looked up to him since I was a young eya, I looked up to his confidence, I had posters covering my walls and knew every catchphrase. Now, back to recent times, I saw that this year StarCon would be hosted at Fortuna, and originally I wasn’t gonna go due to money being low. Then I saw it, Falco would be there for meet and greets. Right as I saw that I purchased a pass and a ticket for Fortuna at my local spaceport. And so I went, the trip over was fine besides almost being decimated in Meteo. I get to the con and of course it’s packed, but I spot my hero, my goat in his own booth. I run up to the line and when it gets to me I question him. EventuallyI ask a final question, I asked him why he was blue despite being a falcon. What he said next broke everything. He said, and I quote, “I’m a pheasant, not a falcon, get it right!” A PHEASANT!? YOU’RE YELLING ME THE GUY NAMED FALCO, ISN’T A FALCON!? THAT’S LIKE IF FOX WAS NAMED FOX BUT WAS ACTUALLY A WOLF! IT MAKES NO SENSE! I’VE LOST ALL RESPECT FOR MY HERO AND YOU SHOULD TOO! ALL THOSE YEARS LOOKING UP TO HIM WASTED! WHAT NEXT, YOUR GOING TO TELL ME SLIPPY ISN’T A TOAD!?
