I bought a pair of trainers on Vinted that didn’t fit. I didn’t examine them forensically, but they seemed legit.
I’ve since sold them and the purchaser is saying they’re counterfeit. I don’t agree, so paid postage for them to be returned.
The transaction has since been suspended and unless I can prove they’re real, they get to keep the trainers and I lose out… £60 down.
To make things worse, the person who I bought them from is “member blocked”, so I can’t ask for a receipt or anything.
The code on the trainers match the box and ai is saying they’re 95% likely authentic
What should I do here? Will this be looked into by a human or a bot? Am I likely to get a return?
The process as it stands leaves ALOT of scope to be abused by unscrupulous purchasers - surely there’s a better way?
