Need some advice for the near future
Hello guys, I’m going to try and be broad to remain anonymous, but if you need me to be more specific with this situation please let me know. I have had an overseas trip planned before the semester started, let alone before the Canvas hack and one week delay of the semester, and now there is a pretty big chance that my one and only exam for this semester will overlap with me going away. If the week delay didn’t happen the holiday I’m going on would be directly after the final assessment period. I’ve reached out to the convenor of the class to see if in the case this situation happens, we could find a workaround, but he said if this were to happen I’m expected to be available for the final assessment period. I figure because of this, if I’m away while the exam is on he will refuse to help me or give me an alternative. If this situation were to occur where could I go to ask for assistance? I feel like I have the right to still go on this holiday because i made it work with my school times and i had nothing to do with Canvas shutting down. Is there someone higher up I could speak to about this?
