I have a 2012 Mercedes E350 Convertible with 52,000 miles.

The car was in an accident with damage to the front passenger fender, passenger door, and rear quarter panel, all of which were repaired.

After driving about 50 miles postrepair, I started noticing transmission slipping and found pink/milky fluid in the coolant reservoir, which makes me believe coolant and transmission fluid mixed due to a failed transmission cooler inside the radiator.

So I have replaced, Radiator, Coolant reservoir, Filter/Gasket
and Transmission fluid All OEM

After the first transmission service, the slipping improved somewhat. After a second flush and filter replacement, it improved a little more.

Current symptoms:
- Still slips between 2nd and 3rd gear
- Vibration during acceleration

My question is: could the remaining slipping and vibration still be caused by contaminated transmission fluid working its way out, meaning a third flush might help? Or does this usually mean internal transmission damage has already occurred and I should stop spending money on fluid/filter services and start budgeting for a rebuild or replacement?

Trying to figure out if continuing with another flush is worth it or if I’m just delaying the inevitable.

Any Mercedes techs or anyone who has dealt with coolant contamination in these transmissions, I’d really appreciate advice.
