FUTURES, CFDS international trading is banned. How do you guys go about it or is there other regulations for OCI holders?
Hello guys & women, so last week my wife was diagnosed with borderline 5.1 fasting gestational D (saying diagnosed is kind of a stretch) the rest of the hour tests were within normal range.
So we were sent home to monitor our blood sugar with a glucometer, now for the following week after diagnosis (eating normally) the fasting test has been coming between 4.4 - 4.8. I get that there is a difference of accuracy but wouldn’t that say something? We even tried like a high sugar dinner (Ice creams and stuff, it was yet at 4.7.
So we spoke to our OBGYN, and told her the whole situation, she asked us what time did we test, we told her at 10:20am for the GD test (we got some traffic and ended up fasting a total of 12hrs and 30mins. She told us that it might have been such a long fast that caused the increase of the test result “BUT THERE ISN’T ANYTHING WE CAN DO EXCEPT JUST MONITOR”
Ummmm so my wife has just got to be pricking herself with normal results, which shout out to all women dealing with this, y’all are strong, even though ik it’s just prick and barely hurts after some days (my wife told me that, not trying to assume what a women goes through what she doesn’t).
We are passed the GD testing period, Anyone may have some advice or anecdotes to share.
