Hello, I was just holding my beardie and noticed his tail looked pretty dark on this one patch. If you look close the scales do look like they are going to shed and he didnt react negatively to me touching that section of his tail or any of the sections around it. I think it is just a portion that is going to shed but I have never seen it so dark before. The underside of his tail looks normal and I put olive oil on this section in case it is the beginning of shedding. Has anyone seen shed look this dark before or have any idea if I should be concerned? Also he has had the notch in his tail since before we got him as a baby. Thank you!
