The Storytime: A Little White Lie
I had a friend in school, and we used to go to the same tuition center together. There were these two boys there—let’s call them Hyde and Alexander.
Back then, I was a pavam kutti (innocent kid). Since we all lived close by and were in the same school, my friend—who liked Alexander—asked me to "stalk" them and get their details. So, like a professional C.B.I. officer, I found out everything about them!
But as I was doing this, I slowly started developing a crush on Hyde. He had beautiful eyes and was really good-looking. I started noticing him more and more.
One day, my friend asked me, "Do these guys have girlfriends?" Suddenly, I felt possessive. I told her, "Yes, they both have girlfriends!" I just made up some random names—let's call them Ammu and Achu. After that, I kept looking at Hyde, and we’d have long periods of eye contact. He even used to smile at me sometimes.
A year passed, and our classrooms ended up being next to each other. I had a program in my class where I was the MC. It was my first time anchoring, and I was so happy. I felt even more in love with him; I saw him like a "God" in my eyes. The program went really well, and I felt like a star.
But then, later that day, I saw him with... Ammu! 😭😭😂😂😂
