I booked a hotel online. I was making several reservations at the same time on several different sites. I never got an email confirmation. I called the hotel. They can confirm the reservation, but they say it is "Prepaid through the Expedia group of companies". I know that the reservation had a cancellation policy. I want to cancel and now I can't because I don't know who I made the reservation with. Expedia says that it is an affiliated company and their system does not have the name. They gave me a phone number, but it's in mainland China. (Wow). I don't want to call long distance. I can only cancel with the original booking company. Other than disputing the charge on my credit card what else can I do? I've checked my search history on my computer. I've checked every booking site I could have possibly used. No record on any of them. Very disappointed in Expedia. Any suggestions?
