Anniversary Trip to Hawaii
Hey guys! My wife and I are visiting Honolulu for our Anniversary over Labor Day (Sept 2-8th), staying at a friend's empty apartment near the Safeway and Leonard's just off of Kapahulu Ave.
We are going to do all the obvious tourist stuff, Pearl Harbor/Dole Plantation/etc., but I wanted to see if there's anything specific that maybe I wouldn't find out about with a quick Google.
Though we mostly like to hike, eat fun foods, and explore, I am really wanting to hear about anything that is a bit more local/unique as opposed to the typical touristy stuff. We are 26 years old and fairly active.
All Hawaii travel tips and tricks are welcome, even if you don't have any specific activity recs!
