Hello my cat and I just moved from a home with my parents into an apartment with a roommate he's never met. Today is day one and he has just been hiding himself in a corner in my bedroom and it breaks my heart. I've been giving him lots of time alone (with the door shut) and visiting him sporadically and feeding him churus. But how do you make this best for them? He wasn't like this when I adopted him at the humane society and brought him home 6 years ago, he adjusted right away, so I guess I wasn't expecting to see him so scared.
