Another of my LVT’s from my Iwo Jima USMC army. Beach Yellow 2

I did have the good Capt and my Second Lieutenant painted pretty well… then I absentmindedly grabbed the wrong bottle and sealed them up.

When I came back to the desk in the morning they had been ruined… the wrong stuff turned them milky white!

I first used a q-tip and warm water to try and get any off that I could… then coated with a few different washes then finally just quickly threw some new paint on when it was apparent I couldn’t restore them. At least they were not milky white anymore.

Good enough for government work.
