23 Years old, Smashed my Thumb pretty bad a month ago or so, what should I do?

I smashed my thumb at work pretty bad and over time I wasn’t having issues with it healing, just a huge indent in my nail and a bunch of blood. This morning the top layer of my nail started chipping away and all of the dried blood started falling out, if I put pressure on the top of my nail it starts to hurt a little bit. What should I do?
