Help finding a restaurant to take my In-laws
My in-laws are visiting soon, and it’ll be my FIL’s birthday while they’re here (not a big one). We’d love to take them out for a nice dinner, but we’re struggling to find somewhere that ticks all the boxes.
My MIL doesn’t really eat red meat, but my FIL loves a steak. Flat Iron would’ve been perfect for the price and vibe if they had a fish/chicken option, and Hawksmoor is probably a bit over budget for the occasion. We looked at Blacklock but it is probably a bit too meaty for MIL. Most French places are probably a bit fancy for FIL, and MIL also doesn't really like pasta which rules out the majority of Italian spots. I feel like I've looked at every restaurant in London trying to find a place that everyone will like.
We usually end up at Coté, which they love because there’s something for everyone and it's nice without being too fancy, but we go there almost every time they visit, so we were hoping for a change this time if we can.
