I’ve just found out that I’m visiting Toronto from the Uk on Victoria Day (I’m in the city from Saturday night to Tuesday afternoon); is there anything as a visitor I need to be aware of (like stores/restaurants being closed or having different opening times) and are there any events that are worth checking out?

Also, is it likely that the stores and restaurants in the PATH will be open on the Monday or are they likely to be closed as the office workers aren’t around?

I’m travelling to Toronto from the Uk for the first time in a couple of weeks, arriving on May 16 at around 20:30 and staying in downtown Toronto.

We’d originally planned to catch the UP Express from Pearson to Union Station but I’ve just seen there’s engineering work that weekend and a bus replacement service is operating instead. Would you recommend getting taking the replacement bus service for the trip, or from a comfort and speed point of view, would a cab be a better option? Are there any other options we should consider?

Also, would I be right in saying that a cab would be in the region of $60-80?
