First time MN - Update!

Hi all :)

You might remember this post https://www.reddit.com/r/DIYmicroneedling/comments/1sx41m7/first_timer_mn_did_i_do_it_right/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=mweb3x&utm_name=mweb3xcss&utm_term=1&utm_content=share_button

Today I did a second session with a 16 needles cartridge instead of a 24 - ouch, the difference is huge!

I feel so sorry for shitting on people who use numbing cream haha

Again, thank everyone for the advice on the previous post!!

Hi all!

Today I did my first microneedling treatment.

I sanitized everything, no numbing cream, used hyaluronic acid to glide, and started at .25. I was super scared, and very surprised when I saw there was no pain or redness whatsoever. I could feel a little scratch but no more. Went up to .5 on all my face and still, perfectly fine.

I did maybe more of the recommended amount of passes, and here is the result in the comments (sorry for the jumpscare!). I did not go over the pimples.

Is this a normal result? Should I go deeper next time? I could take way more than this before feeling discomfort.

Used drPen m8
