I recently had my transcript evaluated by the Illinois Board of Accountancy for the CPA exam, and I was informed that I need a two-hour business communication course. I had assumed I already met this requirement because I took English courses in community college several years ago. However, it appears those courses do not satisfy the specific business communication requirement. Please let me know if I am missing anything. If I do need to take this course, I would appreciate recommendations for the cheapest online community college or other options to fulfill this requirement, ideally around $200. Any help would be appreciated.
