Hey. Got a Devil’s ivy that was looking amazing and trailed round the room. Unfortunately, we were away for 6 weeks and forgot to tell our friend that this plant was in a different room to the rest, so it had 6 weeks no water.
The leaves have browned and died off nearest to the plant. I assume no new foilage will grow here, and it will continue to grow longer at the new ends only, leaving those bare sections at the starts.
Is my assumption correct? If yes, is the best move to essentially start again, cutting both long strands off at the pot? Or is that too drastic for the plant in one go. OR is there another better solution?
It gets moderate indirect light. Normally, it get looked after well!!
Thanks!
