Hi there. I am considering purchasing the PitBoss Austin XL. I live in Canada in a fairly humid climate out on the east coast. As I have never owned a wood pellet grill before I have several questions:

Does anyone use these on wood decks? Our patio is off the kitchen, but is a raised wood deck. Currently use my propane grill out there and having to go downstairs to the yard would be a pain as there is no outlet close by and just inconvenient.
Love smoking, but some weeknights just want to fire up a quick burger or sausage. Is it convenient for cooking like that?
Is covering it with a heavy cover enough protection in a wet climate?
