So ofc I did my fair bit of research before getting a basset. But I wanted to know if these traits are common with yalls bassets as this is my first time owning one.

1. A slave to their nose, I knew this one coming in but Doobie is SO stubborn when he is outside, he gets a scent, he’s locked on
2. Dramatic, he huffs and puffs when he is told no or gets in trouble
3. Whines or hollers while begging for food 🤣
4. Loves to chase anything outside
5. Not great with fetch
6. Loves to play hide and seek
7. Straight up cuddle bug, NEEDS all the attention.
8. With the mention of his stubbornness, any ideas to help with that? He’s not horribly stubborn by any means, just wanna try to maintain it while he’s still a learning pup. (7 months old)
