Hi everyone! I just wanted to ask for advice from those who have gone through the same situation.
I still do not have a new physical ID bearing my married name, but I have already updated all my government records and documents to reflect it. Because of this, I am a bit confused about which name I should consistently use for forms and bookings that usually require an ID match, especially for things like airline tickets, hotel bookings, and other official transactions.
For those who experienced this transition period, did you already start using your married name even if you could not yet present an updated government ID with that name? Or did you continue using your maiden name until you received new IDs?
Would really appreciate hearing your experiences or any tips to avoid issues later on. Thank you!
