I had to help restrain a girl the other day which I really didn’t like having to do but that was the first time in 6 months. Damn near every day I have to cut out some laminated stuff. My teacher is new, 1st year, she started as a para. New profession for me, started oct 21. I used to cut dog hair for the past 13 yrs. I know no one really likes changing dirty diapers either. Still that’s less frequent for me than this incessant scissoring. Having to follow eloping students all over campus and to the highway is up on the list too. But again rare when compared to the scissoring . My teacher needs a lot of help but then says she doesn’t and takes claim for doing things all on her own. The other paras are barely assisting their teachers and are on their personal laptops and phone having full on conversations.

Edit

I used scissors. Add ing . Just like cook or hammer, cooking , hammering.

I would have used cut for cutting but many of these sped high school kids self harm by cutting themselves. Reason I did not use that wordage.

Attempted to use scissoring for humor instead of trauma of self harm cutting.
