DR. STONE FUN FACT >!This is a Spoiler!<

In both chapter 210 of the manga and episode 30 of season 4 of the anime, as Senku tells his allies that the rocket will be built in Japan, we see a fantasy of a modern looking rocket with the name Senku11. Surprisingly, the actual rocket that the three lucky astronauts (who are chosen in chapters 219 and 221) use to go to the moon in a later episode (and chapter 223) is in fact labeled Senku11! I wonder if the artist did that as a sort of teaser for the actual rocket launch or this was just a coincidence? What do you Dr. Stone fans think?

Black Clover Character English Casting Theories >!This is a Spoiler!<

Ok, the Spade Invasion Arc of Black Clover will be adapted in the anime. This means we will see Adramelech (who first appeared in chapter 317) and Lucius Zogratis (although he is not introduced until the end of the arc in chapter 331) brought to life. Which brings up the question, who will voice these two in the English dub? Here are my guesses:

For Adramelech (if they go for a male voice) I believe Todd Habberkorn (Natsu in Fairy Tail) or Drew Breedlove (Sai Nanami in Dr. Stone) might be good choices.

For Lucius, maybe John Burgmeier (Xeno in Dr. Stone and Shigure in Fruits Basket)? After all the dude has done villain characters before. Or they might have Julius’s English VA, Robert McCollum, play him. After all Lucius and Julius are twins and it would not be the first time the same actor voiced twin brothers in an anime. Plus, McCollum also has voiced villain characters (e.g., Donquixote Doflamingo in One Piece, Stain in MHA, and Stanley in Dr. Stone).

How about you Black Clover fans? Who do think would be the best English voices for these two upcoming characters?

DR. STONE FUN FACT >!This is a Spoiler!<

In the final chapter of the manga, the extra chapter Terraforming, and the short sequel 4D Science, we see that Xeno has switched his black lab coat with a white one in the exact same style (minus the spiky collar) with a light blue necktie instead of purple. I think this new style (along with his partly healed petrification scars) represents him not being a villain anymore (which Ryusui points out in chapter 221), but rather both a member and a leading scientist (along with his former student Senku) of the kingdom of science.

Honestly in my opinion, he is better off as this than as a rocket scientist at NASA before the Petrification Event. This is because his scientific ideas and intellect are better appreciated by his colleagues (most especially Senku) and no one holds him back.

DR. Stone Fun Fact

Some few years before Season Four came out lots of Dr. Stone fans believed that Xeno was blonde and Stanley had white/silver hair and even made fanart showing this.

However, after official colored manga volume and chapter covers were released (followed by official character art for Season Four) it was revealed that Xeno has white hair and Stanley blonde.

To be honest, I think this was a great choice. White hair really fits the eccentric evil scientist character that Xeno played in part 1 and most of part 2 (plus it gives him a bit of similarity to Senku who also has a unique hair color) while Stanley’s golden locks give him a tall, blonde, and dangerous soldier vibe. What do you guys think?

UPCOMING SEASON OF BLACK CLOVER >!This is a spoiler!<

I know the upcoming season of Black Clover will cover the Spade Kingdom Invasion Arc but I wonder if it will also cover the final arc. If it does (or they do another season adapting it) then I would love to see these parts animated (most especially Finral’s).

DR. STONE FUN FACT:

I am not sure you know this but in season 4 of Dr. Stone, Stanley Snyder is voiced by two different VAs in English. In part 1 and the first eight episodes of part 2 he is voiced by the well known Robert McCollum (who voiced Jellal Fernandes and Mystogan in Fairy Tail). However, in episodes 9-10 and 12 of part 2 he is voiced by Jeff Plunk (who voiced Gadjah in Black Clover). This makes him the fourth Dr. Stone character to have two English VAs, with Senku being the first (Aaron Dismuke in S1-4 and Matt Shipman in only one episode of S3), Kirisame second (Lindsey Seidel for S3-4 and Celeste Perez in three episodes of S3), and Hyoga third (Jerry Jewel in S1-3 and Kieran Flitton in S4).

Personally, I think McCollum played Stanley better than Plunk. Probably because the dude has played villain characters before. What do you guys think? Also, if Stanley makes a comeback in part 3 (which he probably will) do you think McCollum will return to voice him or do you think it will be Plunk again?

It’s Ruri and Kohaku peeking in on the four working scientists this time during the end credits because the KOS citizens (and those in Treasure Island) that stayed in Japan have now all been revived in today’s latest episode!

I just realized that the upcoming new episode of Dr. Stone season 4 will be the last one in the Globetrotting Arc. This means that starting with the episode after this new one we will officially be in the Moon Mission Arc.

Throughout it all, we will see Chrome and Suika working hard to come up with a two way rocket, the choosing of the three astronauts, the return of lots of familiar faces (especially one a lot of you are dying to see again), the liftoff to space, and the confrontation with the series overarching main antagonist (aka the mysterious Whyman). So, as Senku always says, "This is exhilarating. Get excited!"

The third cour opening of Dr. Stone’s fourth season opens by showing Senku and Xeno in standing the same position (face forward with a confident look and hands on hips) each at a different time of day (the former in the morning and the latter at night). This is obviously a reference to the names “Scientist of Darkness” and “Scientist of Light” that Xeno calls himself and Senku in episode 25.

Here are some scenes from the Manga (Chapters 210-213 that will be adapted in episodes 30 and 31 (premiering May 7 and May 14). I am not going to lie some of these scenes are going to make you happy cry, others are going to make you laugh, while others will leave you speechless!

The first picture is what Stanley’s face will look like after he is revived later in a future episode of the anime.

The second is what his face will look like after he is revived a second time in space after his previous revival in another future episode of the anime.

Ok, so I just saw the stills and trailer for episode 29 of Dr. Stone Season four and from what I have seen I think this will adapt three chapters (108-110) from the manga instead of just two like they did the previous ones. Here is proof:

  • First we have Senku, Chrome, and Sai competing in the Math Olympics Event which was in chapter 108.
  • Then there is the food made out of corn which appeared in chapter 109.
  • Finally we have Chrome and Suika standing on the roof of a tall structure at night with the Kingdom of Science Flag planted between them. They are agreeing to work together to build a two-way rocket so the astronauts can return from their space mission, which happens in chapter 110.
